Community Involvement

November 15, 2020:

The Walpole Eagles soccer team scored a 1-0 victory over Norwood to complete an impressive 9-1 season and a Division 4 championship.  Caroline Kelley scored the winning goal and coach was definitely proud of her and the entire team.  This season was very special considering it was one of the first opportunities for the kids to compete and feel normal again.

March 8, 2020:

The Walpole 4th grade girls travel team finished their brief season and were able to finish 3rd place in Division 1.  It was so much fun to see the kids be able to have some sense of normalcy in what has been a challenging year.  Caroline Kelley was very impressive in her first season of travel ball and has been fortunate to make her first AAU team starting this spring.

March 6, 2020:

The Walpole 6th grade boys travel team wrapped up their season today with a 4-4 overall record.  The boys played a tremendous season that was filled with quite a few challenges.  Coach Kelley was impressed with their work ethic, but more importantly was thrilled to see smiles on their faces (under their masks, of course) throughout the season. 

March 8, 2019:

The Walpole 4th grade boys travel team finished their incredible season with a 10-5 record.  They were very impressive in the Metrowest Playoff Tournament making it all the way to the Final Four before losing to Mansfield by 4 points.  Coach Kelley and the boys were sad to see the season come to an end, but a lot of progress and great friendships were made.  They are all excited to do it again next year!

October 29, 2018:

The Murphy Insurance Group will be sponsoring Distractology on behalf of Arbella Mutual Insurance at Braintree High School.  Distracted driving is something that is affects us all but is proving to be especially dangerous for young, inexperienced drivers.  The Distractology driving simulator will be on hand to provide hands-on instructional learning behind the wheel.  Students who participate have proven to be 19% less likely to have an accident and 25% less likely to get traffic violations.

June 13th, 2018:

The Cardinals little league team lost in the semi-finals to put an end to their season.  The boys were very disappointed in tonight’s result, but Coach Kelley was extremely proud of their effort and progress all season.  The team had a successful and fun season and finished with a record of 9-3-2. 

June 9th, 2018:

The Walpole 2 boys’ team, in the 3rd grade division, finished off their season today with a 7-0 win and completed an undefeated season.  Daniel Kelley scored the first goal of the game and coach couldn’t have been more proud of the boys this season.
